Yorkshire’s battle against an LV= County Championship defeat to title rivals Nottinghamshire is going right down to the wire.
The hosts went in to tea on 406-8 after 152 overs, leading by only 39 runs with 34 overs left in the day.
Yorkshire lost Anthony McGrath, Andrew Gale, Steve Patterson, Jonny Bairstow, Gerard Brophy and Ajmal Shahzad today, the latter four all in the afternoon session.
Nightwatchman Patterson was caught at silly mid-off by Mark Wagh off the left-arm spin of Samit Patel for 26 off 116 balls.
Bairstow was bowled by Darren Pattinson, Brophy caught behind by Chris Read off Ryan Sidebottom for 37 and Shahzad caught at gully by Andre Adams off Sidebottom with the last ball before tea.
Adil Rashid made his way to an important 34 not out as the rain forecast for today arrived with the players off for tea.
