Yorkshire have been bowled out for 178 by Nottinghamshire on the opening day of their LV= County Championship match at Headingley.
Ryan Sidebottom, Paul Franks, Andre Adams and Samit Patel all took two wickets for the men from Trent Bridge, while Jonny Bairstow top-scored for Yorkshire with 45 off 81 balls.
Yorkshire lost five wickets in the afternoon session, falling from 89-5 at lunch.
Adil Rashid was trapped lbw by Pattinson, Bairstow bowled by a pearler from Sidebottom after a number of crisp boundaries, and Ajmal Shahzad was caught behind by Chris Read off Franks.
The left-arm spin of Patel then struck twice in consecutive overs to trap both Steve Patterson and Oliver Hannon Dalby lbw.
