Yorkshire's top order has been blown away on the opening morning of their LV= County Championship match against title rivals Nottinghamshire at Headingley.
Andrew Gale, who won the toss and elected to bat, has been one of five departures before lunch.
Gale, Adam Lyth, Jacques Rudolph, Anthony McGrath and Gerard Brophy have all gone to leave the White Rose floundering at 89-5 after 28 overs.
Lyth was first to go five balls into the match when he edged Ryan Sidebottom behind to Chris Read for a duck.
Rudolph was then run out after a mix up with McGrath, the latter playing the ball into the covers before taking a step down the wicket only to find Rudolph hurtling down the track from the non-striker's end.
When Gale was trapped lbw by Paul Franks in the 14 th over, Yorkshire were in tatters at 36-3.
McGrath and Jonny Bairstow then shared a fourth- wicket partnership of 46 in nine overs to steady the ship somewhat.
But their good work was undone when McGrath feathered behind to Read off the bowling of New Zealander Andre Adams for 29.
Adams then bowled Brophy in the penultimate over before lunch.
