The title race at the top of Bradford Mutual Sunday School League Group B took another twist yesterday as leaders Heaton lost and second-placed Hallfield won to move level again at the top of the table.
Heaton were dismissed by Cross Roads & Daisy Hill Meths for just 98, Josh Butterfield and Chris Hartley taking four wickets each. Daisy then passed that total with four wickets down.
Meanwhile, Hallfield made 161 against Odsal, Nasir Aslam top scoring on 49 and Vipul Sharma claiming 5-45 for Odsal, who were then all out for 88, Sajid Mahmood bagging 4-14.
Great Horton Meths and Mandhata are joint third after both won again.
John Bond scored 54 as Great Horton Meths made 132 against Mayfield, Nadir Khan claiming 4-13. Mayfield were then all out for 65, Gareth Llewellin taking 5-15.
Mandhata made 192 against Buttershaw St Paul's and then dismissed them for 117, Peyush Patel taking 5-36. Ivan Markovic had earlier made 42 for Buttershaw.
In Group C, Bowling Baptists opened up a 14- point lead after their ten-wicket win over second-placed West Bowling.
Akhtar Mahmood took 6-21 as West Bowling were shot out for just 53, and Mohammed Ibrar then hit a whirlwind 50 not out as the target was reached without loss.
Bradford Indians are third after they had an easy win over Mayfield. First they scored 197-7, Inder Khan making 77 while Chris Beesley claimed 4-70 for Mayfield. They then dismissed Mayfield for 58, with Tahit Data taking 8-6.
Cambing remain fourth after their win over Muff Field. Cambing scored 147-9, Steven Honey earning 6-78 for Muff Field, who were then all out for 55.
Andy Meredith took 7-15 for as Cross Roads & Daisy Hill Meths were all out for 58, YMCA passing the total with four wickets down.
At the top of Group A, Cambing opened up a five-point lead after they won and second-placed Yorkshire LPS could only pick up two points in a drawn match.
Cambing made 121 against BPR, for whom Amir Khan and Mohammed Quadeer both claimed four wickets. In reply, BPR were all out for 65, Hameed Khan taking 6-35.
Omars scored 229 against Yorkshire LPS, Asad Abbas top scoring with 95 and Shmile Khan making 51.
In reply, Yorkshire LPS held out for a two-point draw on 185-7, Mahesh Patel scoring 60 and Anil Patel taking 4-58 for Omars.
Heaton took advantage of BPR’s slip up to move into third place, defeating Bradford Gymkhana B by eight wickets.
Gymkhana B made 98, with Mohammed Naveed claiming 5-35. Heaton passed the score with two wickets down.
Bradford Gymkhan A join BPR in joint fourth place after their eight-wicket win over Muff Field, Mohammed Adnan making 57 not out in their 96-2. Muff Field had earlier made 93.
