Sri Lankan Naveed Gharni was a key player as Bradford & Bingley moved into second place in Bradford League Division One after a tense two-wicket win against defending champions Baildon at Wagon Lane in the last over.
It was the third match in a row that Bingley had chased large totals and scored the winning runs in the final six balls.
Young batsmen Adil Islam (51) and Harry Smallwood (50) each scored half-centuries as Baildon totalled 237-8.
They came together when the visitors had lost four wickets for 80 and put on 79 for the fifth wicket. Leg spinner Gharni took 3-52 and former Baildon pace bowler Will Briggs 3-38.
Opener Simon Davies also did well against his old club, making 48 as he helped Gharni put on 58 for the second wicket before the home side lost three wickets for eight runs.
Gharni led the recovery and, when he was sixth out for 66 with 32 still needed, James Davies (24no) guided Bingley to victory with four balls to spare.
Woodlands moved into fourth place after taking maximum points from their 117-run home win over East Bierley.
Chris Brice again produced a fine all-round performance, making 89 not out as Woodlands totalled 254-5. He was well supported by opener Sam Frankland, with 61, and skipper Pieter Swanepoel (43).
An understrength Bierley side were then bowled out for 137, with Swanepoel taking 3-32 and Brice 3-34.
Left arm spinner Ben Platt produced a match-winning 5-71 as Gomersal beat neighbours Cleckheaton by 18 runs.
Opener Richard Gould was top scorer for Gomersal with 53 and was well supported by Shahzaib Khan (45), skipper Richard Whitehurst (42) and Phil Carter (35) as Gomersal totalled 259-9, teenage off spinner Edward Walmsley taking 3-21.
Mark Cummins gave Cleckheaton a sound start with 67 but the task proved beyond them as they closed on 241-9.
Yorkshire second-teamer James Lee (67) and Steve Simpson (64) shared an opening stand of 126 as Farsley beat next-to-bottom Saltaire by four wickets. Waleed Akhtar (55) and Tim Jackson (48) were top scorers in Saltaire’s total of 223-9. The result leaves Saltaire 51 points adrift of safety.
Third-bottom Yeadon are still in trouble, 33 points adrift of safety despite gaining 20 points from their 142-run win over bottom club Bankfoot.
Kassir Maroof (86) and skipper Grant Soames (66) were top scorers as Yeadon made 263-5 before bowling out Bankfoot for 121, Mahmood Rasool taking five for 22.
