Second Division club Undercliffe were the only winners on a miserable day when all other matches were abandoned through rain and bad light.
Before this season, these abandoned matches would have resulted in one point each, but the new bonus points system has given teams much more to play for, even in games where no result is possible.
The weather was especially frustrating for reigning Division One champions Woodlands, still smarting from their eight-wicket home defeat against Pudsey Congs the week before.
They must have felt they were on course for victory at Idle when bad light put a stop to the run chase.
Idle made 134 for nine in 42 overs with Paul Cumming top-scoring with 36 while overseas player Safraz Ahmed (3-39) and Yorkshire all-rounder Richard Pyrah (3-31) each took three wickets.
Further stoppages left Woodlands with only 20 overs in which to reach their target but skipper Tim Orrell's decision to open with big-hitting Safraz in a bid to force a victory looked to have paid dividends as they raced to 92 for one in a mere nine overs.
However, they were thwarted by the umpires' decision to take the players off for bad light with Safraz 57 not out and Pyrah 29 and leave them with six points four for bowling and two for the abandoned match.
Pudsey St Lawrence extended their lead at the top of the First Division to six points despite gaining only five points from their abandoned match at Brighouse.
Overseas batsman Rizwan Ahmed top-scored with 53 in Brighouse's total of 168 for six.
St Lawrence had made 46 for none in eight overs when the match was abandoned.
Second-placed Pudsey Congs could manage only four points from their abandoned match against Morley.
Consistent batting from skipper Matthew Doidge (36), Andrew Bairstow (35), Andy Bethel (33) and Neil Gill (29) enabled them to total 195 for seven five runs short of a third batting point.
Defiant Morley had crawled to 37 for one in 23 overs when the weather intervened.
The Bradford & Bingley-Saltaire match was finely balanced when rain and bad light caused it to be abandoned.
Bingley bowled out Saltaire for 149, one short of a batting point, with Chris Thompson taking four for 48 and Richard McCarthy three for 39, while Gharib Razak (59) and Khurram Maqsood (45no) were the visitors' leading scorers.
Bingley had scored 122 for seven, needing 28 to win, when the weather intervened.
Baildon made a bold effort to beat Farsley at Jenny Lane before being thwarted by bad light.
Callum Braddock made 36 in Farsley's total of 162 for nine and then took three for 24 as Baildon raced to 105 for seven in 12.4 overs when the match was abandoned.
Opener Mark Gill followed his century at Bingley the week before by making 86 not out in Cleckheaton's total of 208 for two in 36 overs against Hanging Heaton, while fellow opener Adam Patel scored 51, but their efforts were in vain because the match were abandoned before the visitors had the chance to bat.
It was a similar story at East Bierley, where opener Richard Gould made 70 not out in Bierley's total of 135 for four against bottom club Keighley.
Undercliffe's 13-point haul from their 33-run win at Bowling Old Lane lifted them into second place in Division Two.
In a match reduced to 25 overs, Undercliffe made 139 for four with Arun Lal making 52 not out and Craig Hunt 42 before restricting Old Lane to 106 for six, of which Tahir Khan made 49 not out.
Leaders Manningham Mills looked to be certain winners at home to Windhill before the weather intervened.
They bowled out the visitors for 74, with Nasser Jamal taking five for 36 and Muenoddin Kadri five for 33, but rain prevented their reply.
