JCT600 Bradford League club Bradford & Bingley Cricket Club have appointed Paul Topham as their new director of cricket for girls and people with disabilities.
This is a new venture for the club to actively promote the development of cricket for these groups.
Bradford & Bingley will run coaching sessions for people of any ability, including those wishing to learn the game, and hope to play a number of matches throughout the summer.
The club have excellent on and off-field facilities and this will be enhanced this season by a new £150,000 off-field net and practice facility.
Work on that will start in the next few weeks and should be completed by the end of March.
A number of girls have already registered their interest, including a Yorkshire under-13 player.
If any girl, or child with a disability, is interested in joining Bradford & Bingley, please phone Paul on 01535-275657.
