Rejected Halifax League hopefuls Wibsey Park Chapel have been offered a lifeline in their bid to join a cricket league for 2008.
The decision to reinvite Wibsey Park Chapel to the Central League was prompted by the sudden demise of Laisterdyke last week and, with only seven teams in the league next season, they had no option than to hunt for an eighth team in what is the league's 100th year.
