Paul Slater was run out for 99 on the last ball of Pudsey Congs' innings against Crompark.

Congs posted 222 for six and Crompark were then dismissed for 100 in reply.

Baildon suffered defeat at Halifax Direct despite a fine 62 from Ross Todd and Tom Forster picking up five for 32.

Gulrez Mehmood (79) and Khazir Hanif (6-43) starred for Halifax Direct.

In B Division, leaders Farsley had an easy ten-wicket victory over Leeds Sikh, while Chris Crampton (6-36) kept Farnley Hill in the promotion chase with victory over New Farnley B.

Shahid Bhatti (108no) and 77 from Chris Sharkey (50 off 11 balls) saw Pudsey St Lawrence reach a commanding 285 for six. Old Modernians held out for a point on 119 for nine.

Ddave Nelson (83) and Ryan Woods (8-26) helped Drighlin-gton to an emphatic win over Shipley Providence B in C Division, while Crompark B were dismissed for 80, with Huzair Patel (5-29), in reply to Mount's 228, Uzair Majid making 133.

  • Rodley lifted the Pool Paper Mills Cup after defeating Pudsey Congs by nine wickets.

Congs were dismissed for 128, only Gary Lewsley (39) and Paul Slater (29) offering any real resistance, with Steve Hirst taking five wickets.

John Hodson's unbeaten 50 then saw Rodley home.

Rodley 2nds take on Mount 2nds in Sunday's Cawthorne Cup final at Red Lane, Farsley (1.30pm).
