All-rounder Nick Brook guided Burley to a fourth successive victory as their late-season surge carried them into third place in Division One.

Burley won by six wickets at relegation-threatened Follifoot, Brook making his fourth half century of the season and grabbing five for 36 off his 22 overs.

Burley moved level on points with Beckwithshaw, who have fewer wins to their name and lost at Bilton.

Pool continue to lead the way, four points ahead of Collingham. Pool's game at Steeton was reduced to 40 overs a side by rain and the leaders took four points from a draw. Neil Spragg hit 58 for Steeton but Jamie Davey ensured Pool got the better of the draw with an undefeated century.

Twenty-four hours later the sides met in the Waddilove Cup final and Pool won by seven wickets.

After their victory over North Leeds, Green Lane slipped up at Adel, where they lost by seven wickets, increasing relegation worries. Barry McCormick and Phil Atkinson each made 37 for Green Lane, who struggled against David Mather (6-41). Adel opener Patrick Coughlin carried his bat for 72 in leading the way to victory.

Otley, for whom Jon Hughes made 67 of their 155 runs, had North Leeds in trouble at 38 for five but an undefeated half century from Stephen Wales saw the visitors safely home.

The top three in Division Two - Guiseley, Rawdon and Silsden - all won. Guiseley defeated basement side Hall Park by eight wickets, Mark Ross and Adam Waites contributing half centuries.

Rawdon had a five-wicket win over Harden, which would have been more emphatic had it not been for an unbroken ninth-wicket partnership of 84 by Nick Verity and Chris Spivey. Mark McEneaney took five for 43 for Rawdon as Harden totalled 175 for eight. Rawdon captain Stewart Smith (68no) and Nick Williams (38no) saw their side to victory in the 38th over.

Silsden were restricted to a modest 154 for nine, Lee Bilborough dominating the innings with 81, but when relegation candidates Calverley batted they were hustled out for 84 by Zeeshan Qasim (5-38) and Yasar Ali (3-17).

Tong Park went down by four wickets at home to Bardsey despite a fine 82 from opener James Druce.

Best team batting performance of the day came from New Rover, who amassed 308 for seven and took five points from a draw with Knaresborough. Matt Dulson top-scored with 83.

Addingham's bid for the Division Three title suffered a setback at fourth-placed Menston, who won by 132 runs. Skipper Nick Thornton made a half century for Menston, who posted 213 for eight before South African spinner Abe Smith tormented the Addingham batsmen with seven for 21 off 15.5 overs, including six maidens and Addingham were sent back for 81.

Bolton Villas lost by 165 runs at leaders Colton, for whom Nick Thackray plundered 122. Thackley climbed into fifth pace after a four-wicket win over Ilkley, Dean Skillicorn blasting an undefeated 61 and Steve Ryder taking seven for 56.

Nick Leyden made a defiant 108 not out for bottom-of-the-table Ben Rhydding but they lost again, this time by two wickets at Illingworth, for whome Mark Fellows and Richard Farrell-Smith chalked up half centuries.

Olicanian moved above Addingham into second place with a five wicket victory against Alwoodley, David Corcoran hitting 20 boundaries in an unbeaten 121.
