Wrenthorpe won the Solly Sports Heavy Woollen Cup for the first time when they defeated Wickersley by 68 runs at Hanging Heaton in the final.
Opener Eric Austin gained the man of the match award after making an unbeaten 101 which helped the Central Yorkshire League side compile a formidable total of 285 for four.
He put on 128 with former Pudsey St Lawrence player Gary Fellows, who made 56.
It looked as if Wickersley - who beat Idle in the semi-final - would be dismissed cheaply when they slipped to 103 for six.
But skipper Andy Harrison (38) and Chris Holt (59no) lifted the South Yorkshire League side to 217 all out.
Idle's former overseas bowler Dinusha Fernando took three for 23 for the victors.
