Addingham could find themselves heading the race for the Aire-Wharfe League Division Three title after Saturday's matches.

Of the top three clubs, who are separated by just four points, they would seem to have the easiest task when they travel to Ben Rhydding, whose only victory came in April.

Addingham also have the memory of thrashing their opponents on the opening day of the campaign, running up 311 for nine before dismissing Ben Rhydding for 98.

Olicanian, who are currently top, travel to inconsistent Illingworth, who have failed to win their last three completed games and, despite a club record 326 for five against struggling Alwoodley, find it hard to score runs.

The toughest task among the top three falls to Menston, who take on improving Thackley, winners last time out over promotion favourites Colton.

If the weather holds, spectators are almost certain of a definite result because Thackley have only drawn once all season.

All three will hope that Ilkley's improved form continues when they travel to Colton.

With Richard Harrison regularly among the wickets and Alex Bailey finding form with the bat, Ilkley have won three of their last four matches and could put another dent in Colton's fragile confidence.

Fifth-placed Skipton are probably too far off the pace to mount a promotion challenge but should pick up six easy points at home to Alwoodley.

There's no doubting the top match in Division Two will be at Silsden, where the third-placed club will tackle visitors Harden, just one place and one point below them.

Rawdon are currently in the runners-up spot but they too have a tricky match against Knaresborough, who are also in the group of five clubs separated by just three points.

Tong Park complete that pack and will fancy their chances of making a big move with an easier-looking fixture at Hall Park, while Guiseley will hope to extend their eight-point advantage at the top with a victory at relegation-threatened Horsforth.

Bottom club Calverley need to pick up points soon if they are to avoid the drop and may be able to overcome Bardsey, who had only picked up two points from six games before beating Horsforth two weeks ago.

Upper Wharfedale also need to pick up points against New Rover in order to put some distance between them and the bottom three.
