The halfway stage of the season is reached on Saturday with the championship issue wide open in all three divisions.

Guiseley have an eight-point advantage in Division Two, but with six points at stake in every match that could quickly change.

Just five points separate the top four clubs in Division One, with leaders Adel three ahead of Beckwithshaw and Collingham, while fourth-placed Pool are a further two points adrift.

Olicanian jumped from third place to top spot in Division Three last weekend but Menston and Addingham are just four points behind, with Colton two further back.

There is plenty of time for clubs currently in the relegation places to pull clear.

Follifoot and Steeton are the bottom two in Division One, but Green Lane are a mere one point above Follifoot.

Calverley need to start a winning run as they are cast adrift at the foot of Division Two with just 11 points, while second-from-bottom Horsforth have 17 - three behind local rivals Hall Park.

Steeton's only league win so far came against Burley in May, and Division One's back-markers travel to fallen champions Kirkstall, who have struggled so far this time.

Steeton will be hoping skipper Gary Boulton can build on his undefeated 43 when he faced Adel last weekend.

Adel's victory took them to the top but they face an Otley side boosted by a winning draw against Green Lane, skipper Sam Smith and Gary Thompson showing fine form with the bat.

It's Pool's turn to come up against Green Lane on Saturday, and although Pool should win, Green Lane have clung on to force losing draws in their last three matches.

After their morale-boosting win over Beckwithshaw, Burley will be looking for another prize scalp when they visit Collingham.

Guiseley defend the leadership of Division Two at Knaresborough but their batting looked brittle in the four-wicket victory at Harden, where Dave Pennett was the match-winner with a seven-for-16 haul.

Harden should recover from that defeat when they go to inconsistent Horsforth.

Well-placed Rawdon should also account for Hall Park, after the win over Upper Wharfedale, which saw half-centuries from Simon Wilson and Chris Boden.

Aussie Nick Williams is also on form with the ball, having gathered 12 wickets from his last three outings.

Silsden, like Rawdon, will hope to put pressure on Guiseley by making home advantage count against Bardsey.

Upper Wharfedale, meanwhile, entertain Tong Park.

New Division Three leaders Olicanian face a tricky task at Colton who lost second place last week when they were humbled by Thackley.
