Mark Hobson helped Rodley maintain their 100 per cent record in Division A of the Dales Council League by taking five for 15 in their 21-run win at Adel after his side had made 158 for nine.
Second-placed Hawksworth easily accounted for Crompark, Ken Clayton taking five for 28 as they were dismissed for 97 before Bhargav Desai hit 51 not out in an eight-wicket win.
Shipley Providence recorded their second successive victory, winning at Halifax Direct by one wicket after bowling them out for 163 thanks to Danny Ward's six for 56.
In Division B, Farsley lead the way after Norman Mirza (5-31) and Komal Singh (77no) set up an eight-wicket win over New Farnley B.
Saj Malik claimed five for 60 as Baildon B dismissed New Wortley for 198 and then Gary Baines hit 58 not out as the target was reached for the loss of six wickets. Esholt had to thank Neil Cooper (6-39) and David Holmes (61) as they saw off Leeds Sikh by 56 runs. Craig Trapps made 50 for Pudsey St Lawrence in their 166 for eight against Rodley who, despite 51 from Julian Horsley, ran out of overs with five wickets down and just two runs required.
In the Pool Paper Mills cup second round, Scott Sladen hit an unbeaten 74 as Shipley Providence beat Baildon by six wickets.
