The tie of the Wynn Cup second round at Thornton saw Haworth rattle up 194 for seven as Jamie Rowell hit a superb 98 before the hosts got home by two wickets.
There was a similar nail-biting finish at Pendle Forest where Airedale were restricted to 113 (M Gill 47) before Forest sneaked home by one wicket despite P Broadley taking five for 28. Foulridge made 146 for nine against Ingrow before Aide Parker (54) and Wayne Exley (52no) steered the Keighley side to an eight-wicket win.
Chris Capstick made 70 for Sutton in their 183 at Chatburn, who made it home by three wickets, while Long Lee conceded at 40 for seven when the rain came, chasing Cullingworth's 335.
Oakworth are in round three after playing only ten overs after Eldwick and Gilstead became the second side to concede their match against them.
Third round (on June 24): Oakworth v Pendle Forest, Ingrow v Cullingworth, Thornton v Chatburn, Cowling or Carleton v Cononley or Ingrow St John's.
