Crossflatts continue to confound everyone as they march on at the top of the Craven League First Division.
They entertained one of the pre-season favourites Glusburn and saw them off comfortably by five wickets. The Park Field side made a reasonable 166 for nine before the dependable Mick Brooksbank made 83 to lead Flatts home.
Thornton are a point behind after beating Cowling by eight wickets at Booth Bridge Lane. The visitors were dismissed for 143 (S Hassan 33, Marc Laycock 4-37) before the West Craven side romped home in only 16.4 overs.
Bradley moved up to third place after their success at Sandy Lane. Tim Rudden took six for 25 to help peg the home side back to 155, with P Thomas scoring 63. John Hillary top-scored with 35 for the South Craven-ers as they got home by two wickets.
There was a terrific tussle at Cullingworth where the home side produced their first ever win over Embsay.
The Shires Laners amassed 238 for one, with 17-year-old Rhys Davies scoring his maiden century (101no) and Duncan Ward also making that score.
Gareth Marshall top-scored in the reply with 83 and victory looked a formality but four quick wickets were lost before the target was reached.
Oakworth had to overcome an attack of the jitters before beating bottom side Sutton at Royd Hill. The home side had Chris Capstick (41) to thank in getting them to 114 as Andy Dawson took five for 26 and Jason Bilbrough three for 22.
The Cure Hill side slumped to 19 for three before Tim Walsh made a match-winning 60 to get them home by six wickets.
Haworth's annual stag do got in the way of their attempts to pull clear from the bottom of the table as they crashed to a 155-run defeat at Bingley Congs. Tim Summers (106no) and Andy Jennings (67) helped the Beckfoot side to 217 for seven as Peter Gower claimed four for 70.
The Bronte side slumped to 62 for nine in reply as Neil Copping finished with six for 20.
Second Division leaders Barrow-ford encountered few problems at Embsay Seconds. The home side were restricted to 131 for seven before the Bull Holme side romped home by ten wickets.
Second-placed Airedale are six points behind the leaders after they too enjoyed a ten-wicket win at Denholme. N Zaman (6-17) and P Broadley (4-18) had the home side back in the hut for a paltry 53 before Mick Cox guided the Keighley side to the points with 38 not out.
Cononley are third after beating next-to-bottom Foulridge by 93 runs at the Colthurst ground.
Chas Calvert (58no) and Tim Starkey (44) were the backbone of the home side's 197 for nine, with Tom Stephenson taking four for 62. Andy Town (5-51) and Matt Town (4-34) undid the Noyna side's reply which closed on 104.
Haworth Road slipped to fourth place as they lost at Ingrow St John's. The Baildon Bottom side were restricted to 127 (Charlie Hainsworth 44) before Colin Bottomley (75no) helped the Saints to victory by eight wickets.
Ingrow's Dale Hoyle (5-40) and Ian Roberts (3-34) hustled Long Lee out for 89 at Golden View. Then Wayne Exley made 49 and Adie Parker 32 to see the Hainworth side to an eight-wicket win.
