On a day of drama in which holders Woodlands were knocked out, Great Horton claimed a stunning scalp in the second round of the Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup.
The Second Division side, who are seventh in their section, beat ten-man Pudsey St Lawrence, who are third in the First Division, by 47 runs at Ewart Street.
After an opening-round win over Farsley, Great Horton have now added to their list of top-flight victims and will await Saturday's quarter-final draw with eager anticipation.
Inspired by skipper Kashif Naveed's 82, which included three sixes and nine fours, they totalled 203, a figure that was swelled by 20 wides in the 31 extras.
Saints, who were without Gareth Clough and Iain Priestley, were dismissed for 156, only James Smith making a significant contribution with 70 (six sixes, three fours).
Naveed added to his good day's work by taking two for 23 in ten accurate overs, with Iqbal Khan bagging three for 42.
Put simply, Woodlands failed to make enough runs against Pudsey Congs, cup expert Murphy Walwyn top-scoring with 42 in a disappointing total of 185.
Adam Goldthorpe (27), Nicky Rushworth (25), Tim Orrell (22) and Scott Richardson (22) all got starts but were unable to carry things on as in-form Glen Roberts took three for 31 and Matthew Doidge three for 37.
The tie was very much in the balance when Congs were 23 for two but Andy Bairstow (49) and Scott Cunningham (31) put on 70 for the third wicket.
Doidge then completed a fine all-round display with an unbeaten 43 as Congs got home with 16 balls to spare.
Chris Thompson took six for 35 for Bradford & Bingley at Baildon, opener Simon Davies (56), Simon Webb (45) and Jeremy Batty (37) contributing well to the hosts' 257 all out.
The visitors looked to be in with a great chance while openers Carl Sharp (42) and Scott Etherington (57) were together.
But once they were gone, wickets fell regularly in the pursuit of quick runs and Bingley were dismissed for 190, skipper Ian Philliskirk (3-32) and leg-spinner Jamie Abbott (3-37) being Baildon's most successful bowlers.
Not many all-rounders are in better form than Cleckheaton's Ian Wood at the moment and he scored 50 and took four for 49 as Hanging Heaton were beaten by 18 runs.
Overseas batsman Mohammed Zaman hit 74 for the winners, for whom Tom Pringle (28 and four for 30) made a welcome return to form. Nick Whitehill (70) and Zac Morris (66) did best for the Batley side.
Bowling Old Lane, runners-up in 2006, are also in the hat for the last eight. They survived an attack of the collywobbles, collapsing from 74 for one to 75 for five, to defeat Esholt (109) by five wickets.
Fahid Rehman, just 15, saw Old Lane home with 23 not out, while his father Khalid top-scored on 27.
Another youngster, Adal Islam (90 and three for 36), was pivotal in Saltaire's 12-run victory over Undercliffe, while Brighouse collapsed from 175 for one to 201 all out but still defeated Lightcliffe by 23 runs.
James Clarke (82), Mark Gilliver (54) and Richard Elphee (5-38) impressed for Brighouse, with opener Michael Brooke (70) and captain Richard Nichols (3-25) starring for Lightcliffe.
One tie concludes tonight, with Keighley on 31 for one and having 40 overs still to bat in pursuit of Morley's 204 all out.
