If anyone thought that second teams should not be treated as a separate competition, they would do well to look at the current JCT600 Bradford League tables.
Farsley and Lightcliffe, who are bottom of the respective first-team tables, are joint first in the Division One table for second teams.
And Woodlands, who are second in the first teams' Division One table are propping up the equivalent second-team division.
Farsley seconds, who were runners-up in 2006, won at Baildon in the first match of their double weekend.
Mohammad Abbas (59), Chris Curtis (47) and Abid Jahangir (30) were chiefly responsible for Baildon making 196 for seven and Farsley only overhauled that by the first ball of the final over.
Wicketkeeper Matthew Green made 63 and Asif Amir 55 in a three-wicket victory, Mohammad Nawaz taking three for 37 in 14 disciplined overs for Baildon.
On Monday, Farsley were 20 for one at Esholt when the rain came.
Lightcliffe played both days and had a win and a defeat. At Saltaire, the hosts made an imposing 247 for six, Robert Worsnop hitting 78 and opener Awais Ijaz 53.
Richard Tesseyman took three for 52 for the visitors, who could only reply with 180, No 10 Adil Ladak top-scoring with an unbeaten 33. Tauseef Arshad (3-29) was the leading bowler for Saltaire.
However, Lightcliffe bounced back at home to promoted Bowling Old Lane, Steve Hartley (90) and Gareth Stevens (51) sharing a second-wicket partnership of 141 in Lightcliffe's 192, Talat Sajawal taking five for 40 and Adeil Mir four for 66.
Saeed Afsar did his best for the visitors with a rapid 63, which included three sixes and eight fours, but he received little support against Tesseyman (4-33) and Alex Tait (4-44).
East Bierley are just two points behind in third after a win and a rain-affected draw.
Andrew Waggett hit 85 in Keighley's 171, Daniel Abbott taking five for 33, and Bierley were seen to their four-wicket triumph by Leigh Abbott (64 not out), Alex Robinson taking four for 69.
Bierley had made 201 for seven off 47 overs, Arron Brook scoring 88, and Yeadon were 104 for seven off 33 overs in reply when the weather halted proceedings, Chris Brook taking three for 24 and Matt Anderson three for ten.
Manningham Mills lead Division Two after winning a thriller at Idle by two runs and beating Undercliffe by 81 runs.
Qasim Shafiq (54) and Shahid Saleem (43) top-scored in Mills' 197, Gareth Teasdale claiming four for 35 and Graham Dobson three for 56.
Dobson then hit 50 in Idle's 195 for eight, Paul Howker (37 not out) and Nicky Hardaker (18 not out) almost taking them to victory as Fazal Hussain took three for 43.
Cleckheaton are second, two points behind, after their bowlers put in two dominant performances.
They dismissed hosts Great Horton for 131, Chris Ignatow-ski taking five for 36, before Dean Worrell hammered 73 in an eight-wicket win.
Then Ignatowski (3-9), Matthew West (3-12), Adam Fearn-ley (2-5) and Frazer Green (2-16) were in miserly mood as hosts Morley were shot out for 46 on Monday.
Worrell (33 not out) was again in no mood to mess around as Cleckheaton won by seven wickets.
