Haworth won their Wynn Cup first-round tie at Glusburn by 68 runs.
After making 200 for eight in which Jamie Rowell scored 96 not out, Haworth's Richard Godden took four for 34 in the hosts' 132 all out.
Embsay lost by four wickets at Long Lee after they could only reach 121 for nine. The Keighley side wobbled at 61 for four before seeing off John Metcalfe (4-23).
Sandy Lane lost by six runs at home to Airedale, for whom Josh Lewis finished on 63 not out in their 119. The home side's last wicket put on 20 before falling just short.
Steve Mitchell (3-36 and 29no) was the star in Cowling's four-wicket win over visitors Barrowford.
J Stephenson (83) and A Maude (75) set up Eldwick and Gilstead for an impressive 255 for nine before Haworth WE crashed to 36 all out. It was closer at Baildon Bottom where Will Burgess made 79 for Haworth Road but they fell short on 181 for eight chasing 207 for five against Pendle Forest.
