Great Horton could once again prove to be the Division Two's dark horses after winning three of their first four games.

Last week's surprise victory against pacesetters Esholt put them in third spot, one place ahead of Saturday's visitors Undercliffe.

A big factor behind their start, which has also seen them upset First Division Farsley in the Priestley Cup, has been new overseas player Kai Naveed.

The Pakistani all-rounder, who bowls left-arm spin, has already produced the goods with bat and ball regularly, including 43 and three for 26 in the five-wicket win at Esholt.

He has also taken temporary charge of the side in the absence of skipper Gulbar Ahmed due to illness.

"To be honest, the way we have started is really surprising," said club representative Tony Hamer.

"We haven't got any so-called stars, apart from our overseas player, but we have got variation in attack."

Elsewhere, leaders Morley entertain Keighley, the team they came down with from the top flight last year.

Second-placed Esholt entertained fifth-placed Yeadon in what should be a tight encounter.
