Menston hope to keep their unbeaten league record when they entertain Woodhouse on Saturday and stay at the top of Division Three.

This is the toughest test so far for Nick Thornton's side, who finished an unimpressive ninth last season, but after running Division Two outfit Upper Wharfedale close in the Waddilove Cup, they will be full of confidence.

Addingham were pushed off top spot by second-placed Colton last week but shouldn't find Illingworth quite so testing, although it should be an interesting battle between Addingham's Australian Dave Stuart and his countryman Paul Maziokowski, who already has 11 wickets to his name.

Olicanian have shown they are difficult to beat this season, with a win and two draws under their belt, and they face a fascinating trip to Thackley, who have yet to shake off the post-relegation blues and get their expected challenge under way.

Ilkley too have failed to live up to expectations. After narrowly missing out on promotion last season, they have started the new campaign with three defeats and need to pick up form quickly, starting at Skipton.

But the home side look much stronger this season, especially with Ajay Rajput already producing two five-wicket returns.

Bolton Villas have a chance of making it two wins in a row - something they never managed last season - when they entertain Alwoodley but it is difficult to see Ben Rhydding picking up much at Colton.

The match of the day in Division Two is clearly the clash between top two Rawdon and Bardsey, who have both started with three wins.

Rawdon's form has largely been down to some excellent bowling - they have taken 28 of a possible 30 wickets - while Bardsey have put in some impressive batting performances, especially from their Australian Adam Slack.

If the top two can't be separated, Guiseley could take over at the top if, as expected, they overcome Upper Wharfedale.

Harden will seek to keep in touch with the leading group when they travel to Hall Park, as will Silsden, who entertain Knaresborough.

Calverley have made a disappointing start to the campaign with just a single point but could improve on that against a Horsforth side who are also struggling.

Tong Park meet New Rover, who appear to be finding it hard to come to terms with the step up.

After their impressive win against reigning champions Kirkstall last week, Burley face another testing match at Bilton, who have dropped only two points so far and are in second spot in Division One.

Green Lane have the unenviable job of tackling leaders North Leeds, who like Rawdon and Bardsey, have made a 100 per cent start to the season.
