Burley produced a stunning display to beat defending DIVISION ONE champions Kirkstall and put down a marker that they too could be a force to be reckoned with in the Aire-Wharfe League this season.
The 51-run victory lifted Burley to fourth in the table and was inspired by the Brook brothers, who between them hit 231 of a 299 for five total - including a century for David (128) that included 13 fours and seven sixes.
He found good support from siblings Richard (53) and Nick (50) as Burley set about the Kirkstall attack, hitting 100 off the last ten overs.
Nick Brook (3-53) then gave good back-up to Australian Joel Wylie (4-80) as Kirkstall collapsed from 134 without loss to 248 all out.
Chris Campbell produced a five-wicket haul as Otley successfully managed to defend their slim 160 total, dismissing Follifoot for 141.
Green Lane could do nothing to contain Collingham's Eugene Burzler, who hit 13 fours and eight sixes in an unbeaten 134 from their 305 for five.
Only Stuart Hargreaves (25) showed any resistance in the reply as Lane crashed to a 172-run defeat.
There was a third successive defeat for Steeton, despite hitting their highest score so far of 233 for nine which included a half-century for Chris Meehan.

Australian left-arm quickie Nick Williams (5-17) and Stewart Dobson (4-35) skittled New Rover out for 113 to set up Rawdon's third DIVISION TWO win in a row.
That left them level on points with Bardsey, who were made to work hard for their win over Hall Park.
Geoff Barker (55) and Tony Gilks (60) helped the visitors to a challenging 259 for nine but, with import Adam Slack hitting a century, Bardsey won by four wickets.
Guiseley dominated their match with Calverley but had to settle for five points as Josh Henri (35no) hung on to thwart them.
Mark Ross had earlier hit his second century of the season before retiring hurt as Guiseley raced to 249 for four.
Gary Topp (83) and Neil Kettle (67no) put on a quickfire 86 to help Harden to 218 for seven.
A blistering ten-over spell from former Ilkley bowler Chris Spivey (5-28) then skittled out Upper Wharfedale for 119, of which captain David Eggleton cracked 72 in 86 minutes.
An unbeaten 98 from Tim Sugden was the highlight of Silsden's 236 for five at Horsforth.
The home side set about the chase with spirit, led by Anthony Cadman (54), but they could only manage six runs off their final over, leaving them five short and with just two points.
Middle-order batsman Steve Young produced a vital innings of 62 as Tong Park recovered from five for four to 158 for eight to earn two points at Knaresborough.
Menston moved top in DIVISION THREE after beating winless Ilkley by four wickets.
Daniel Walker and Andrew Wheeler each hit 40 for Ilkley but their total of 167 for eight was never going to be enough against the in-form pace-setters.
Menston take over the lead from Addingham, who went down to their first defeat as promotion favourites Colton won by 23 runs.
The highlight for Addingham was a fine 45 from Johnny Taylor, who celebrates his 18th birthday this week.
A five-wicket spell from Garfield Williams restricted Skipton to 166 for eight in their chase of Olicanian's 211 for nine and the four points puts the Ilkley side into fourth place.
Darren Murray (54) top scored for Olicanian, who found Ajay Rajput (5-38) hard to get away, while Steve Carling (66) led Skipton's response.
Nick Leyden (61) and Paul Barton (43no) provided the bulk of Ben Rhydding's 167 for eight but it was not enough as, with Steve Shuttleworth top-scoring on 36, Bolton Villas clinched their first win of the season with six overs and four wickets to spare.
Thackley's expected charge for promotion has not taken off yet after they managed only two points at Alwoodley.
But there were some hopeful signs, with former Bankfoot bowler Paul Stothard producing a 13-over spell of five for 52 and Carl Busfield following up last week's unbeaten 99 with another fine knock of 78.
