INTERLINK have increased their lead in the Bradford Mutual Sunday School Group A with an eight-wicket win against Salem Athletic.
The bowling of the Bismillah brothers was a key element of their success. Yunus took 4-32 and Ibrahim 3-31. In-form Irfan Jamadar made 94 as Interlink sealed victory.
Great Horton Church moved into second place with a nine-wicket win over VVS Laxman. Sohail Butt took 5-8 as VVS Laxman were bowled out for 89.
Girlington beat struggling Bradford Gymkhana by 18 runs to move into third place. Girlington were bowled out for 98 with Amir Raja taking 4-24 and Rafi Qureshi (3-24). Tight bowling from Girlington's Musawar Shah (3-10) and Zafar Ali (3-28) dismissed Gymkhana for 80.
Apperley Bridge bowled out Bradford Moor for 59 to secure a 105-run win. Zakah Ullah (5-28) and Salman Qadir (5-31) shared the wickets.
Bradford Gymkhana beat Cross Roads Daisy Hill by 63 runs in Group B. Gymkhana batted first and scored 102 all out before dismissing Cross Roads for 39 with Nazam Hussain taking 6-9.
Hallfield, who share top spot with Gymkhana, beat Great Horton Church by six wickets. Riadus Rashad made 64 and Mohammed Shahzad (61) in Great Horton Church's 218. Babar Hussain (4-30) and Sajid Mahmood (3-36) were the pick of the bowlers. Noor Murtaza made a superb 106 in the successful run chase.
Shahid Saleem's 6-24 enabled Girlington to dismiss Yorkshire LPS for 112, as they secured a five-wicket win. Basharat Hussain made 49 for Girlington.
Bowling Baptist had a winning draw against Mandhata in the highest-scoring game of the day. Baptist scored 258 all out with Akhtar Mahmood making 93 and Pritesh Patel taking 6-45. Mandhata held out for a draw on 242-9 with Patel scoring 89 and Gurwinder Singh (42).
Zaheer Ahmed took a hat-trick for Greenfield as they beat Salem by two wickets after bowling them out for 176.
Allerton moved into second place in Group C after beating West Bowling by six wickets. A fourth-wicket partnership of 122 between Mohammed Ramzan (67) and Rab Nawaz (54no) enabled them to recover from 17-3 to pass West Bowling's 163-7.
Leaders Cambing suffered a five-wicket defeat against Muff Field A. Cambing recovered from 45-7 to make 231 thanks to an eighth-wicket partnership of 115 between Muhammad Ayaz (106) and Awais Raja (45).
James Fallon took 4-40 for Muff Field who were given the perfect start to their run chase thanks to a first-wicket partnership of 155 between Hassan Malik (141no) and Frank Powell (54).
Mayfield beat Great Horton Meths by nine wickets. Meths scored 101 all out with Dan Jackson making 44 and M Hussain taking 4-25. Mohammad Munir scored 42 to see Mayfield to their target.
Bilal Khan's 59 enabled TABS to beat Parkside by four wickets. Adeil Mir made an unbeaten 63 in Parkside's 115.
Hallfield B bowled out Yorkshire Friends for 55 with Sohail Butt taking 5-32 as they eased to an eight-wicket win.
Bowing Baptist beat Yorkshire LPS by two wickets to go to the top of Group D. LPS scored 144 all out with Viral Patel making 54. Craig Williams (44) and Vinay Varala (38) edged Baptist towards their victory.
Bradford Indians beat Mayfield by five runs. Indians scored 122 with Shazad Ashraf taking 4-29. Mayfield were all out for 117 as Gaurav Kumar picked up 4-9.
Central YMCA defeated Great Horton Meths by eight wickets. Meths, who only had seven players, were all out for 33
Buttershaw St Paul's beat Muff Field B by two wickets.
