GUISELEY notched their first Aire-Wharfe League win of the season and climbed out of the Division One bottom two at the expense of opponents Ilkley.

Stewart Smith (69) and Harrison Durkin (49) put on 77 for Guiseley's fourth wicket but when Smith was out at 156, Robert Wheeler (5-15) tore through the rest, restricting the home side to just 188.

Ilkley started well enough but then Bradley Reeve (5-32) and Chris Wain (3-21) got to work and the visitors were dismissed for 117.

At the other end of the table, George Huntley starred as Otley maintained their charge with a win over North Leeds.

After David Hester (51) gave Otley a solid start, Huntley (33no) and Ricky Halloran (34no) put on an unbeaten 61 to take their side to 251-8. Huntley then picked up 5-56 and, together with Nicholas Bulcock (4-64), bowled out the visitors for 224

Otley remain level on points at the top with Beckwithshaw, who also picked up maximum points with a 145-run win at Steeton on the back of John Inglis' knock of 141.

Ed Brown (62) and Jason Wright (68) smashed 122 in ten overs as Burley raced to 234-6 before Wright took 4-10 in 2.5 overs and, with James Frost (3-25), dismissed Collingham for 119.

Rawdon's efforts to match Bilton's 227-9 foundered at 127. The turning point was when Kuda Samunderu (30) became the first of a hat-trick of victims for Mustahsan Shah.

Like Guiseley, Ben Rhydding broke their duck with a surprisingly easy nine-wicket win over Knaresborough in Division Two.

Kervan Christmas (6-35) and Charlie Swallow (3-18) bowled out the visitors for 100 before Swallow (58) led the successful chase.

Jake Zslinsky continues to impress for Pool, scoring 66 in their 211 which included a ninth-wicket stand of 72 between Sam Wilkinson (40) and Ahmed Mehmood (39no).

But Pool were denied victory when rain called a halt with Thackley on 150-9, in which Josh Brooksbank hit a half-century.

Tong Park responded gamely after being on the wrong end of a dazzling 162 in 124 balls by Tom Shaw as Adel notched up 298-4.

Openers Ross Todd (66) and Danny Groom (55) put on 140 but Gareth Wilkinson (43) was the only other significant scorer as Park went on to 261.

Michael Lambert (6-24) and Andy Robinson (4-32) dismissed Green Lane for 57 and even though Neil Britton (3-26) had Horsforth at 12-3, Ryan Sharrocks (24no) and Gareth Lee (20no) clinched the win to keep their team second in the table – a point behind Colton, who overcame Harden by five wickets.

Skipton's 141 was nowhere near enough to challenge Illingworth, who eased home by nine wickets.

Hall Park pulled off the shock of the day when beating Division Three leaders New Rover, despite being bowled out for 167, which included a seventh- wicket stand of 60 between Callum Postle (44no) and Denis Rock (42).

New Rover looked home and dry at 136-4 but Rock (3-45) and James Carlill (4-36) bowled them out for 150, the last four wickets going down for the addition of just one run.

Addingham also had a big win against promotion hopefuls Old Modernians on the back of a stand of 147 between cousins Rob (74) and Danny (66) Ellis, which broke a league record for the eighth wicket that was set in 1984.

It helped Addingham from 67-7 to 216 and, with Richard Hey taking 4-27, Modernians could only manage 180.

Addingham are now level on points at the top with Olicanian, who skittled out Alwoodley for 39 in reply to their 158 thanks to Bernard Hughes (7-19) and Sajeed Ijaz (3-20).

Steve Shuttleworth (41) and Andrew Clarke (40) top-scored in Bolton Villas' 239-6 on the way to a 49-run win over Bardsey that keeps them in touch with the leaders.

Scott Driscoll (83no) was the main contributor to Calverley's 220-7 before Jonathan Hudson (5-24) and Jatinder Singh (4-20) skittled Silsden for 46.

Charlie Parker (31 and 8-43) starred for Menston but could not stop Upper Wharfedale passing their 189 with one wicket in hand in the 57th over.
