HOSTS Cononley could not cash in on taking two early Thornton wickets in their Cowling Cup second-round defeat.
Thornton, who are fifth in Division Four of the Craven League, won by 107 runs after making 194-6.
Sam Akrigg was the only home batsman to offer much resistance with 38 as they were dismissed for 87.
Bradley did not detain Haworth Road Meths very long at Baildon Bottom, going down by seven wickets after James Robinson (36) and Neil Lambert (24no) gave the visitors some early hope at 48-1.
However, Bradley were dismissed for 90. Meths were then 17-2 but recovered to win by seven wickets in just 17 overs.
Embsay are also through to the quarter-finals after defeating Wilsden in a repeat of their tied 2012 final.
Visitors Wilsden made 152-8 off their 40 overs, Sam Mitchell making a defiant 75, but Embsay sprinted home by eight wickets in 31.4 overs.
Bingley Congs fell to a six-wicket defeat at Barrowford, with only wicketkeeper Ryan Baines (34no) and Charlie Raistrick (32) making double figures in the visitors' 97. Barrowford hurried home in 19.2 overs.
Oakworth, Crossflatts and Gargrave progressed by walkovers against Ingrow, Long Lee and Ingrow St John's respectively.
