WITH all games completed in the league for the first time this season, Interlink remain at the top of GROUP A following a four-wicket win over Great Horton Church.
Church batted first and were all out for 169, with Sohail Butt scoring 66 and Mohammed Azam 41 not out. In reply, Interlink scored 171-6, with Younus Bismillah scoring 45 not out and Ismail Adam 42.
Salem Athletic beat Bradford Gymkhana by 99 runs. Salem batted first and made 191 all out, with in-form Abdul Basit reaching 100. Gymkhana could only muster 92 in reply.
Bradford Moor YCA remain in second after a three-wicket win over VVS Laxman. VVS posted 161 all out, Mahesh Patel starring with 69. Bradford Moor finished on 162-7, Jehansib Zeb scoring 42 and Balkrushna Shirke taking 4-39.
Apperley Bridge beat Omars by eight runs in game that went to the last over. Apperley Bridge made 177-9 after being 44-4 at one stage. Hasan Zeb (50)and Muhammad Yasir (58) combined for a fifth-wicket partnership of 111. Raees Shah took 5-50 for Omars. In reply, Omars made 169 all out in 39 overs. Usman Ghani top-scored with 50 and Muhammad Yasir took 4-31.
Girlington's winning draw against Cambing lifted them to fourth. Girlington batted first and scored 277-8, with Mohammad Fiaz scoring 64, Zahid Khaliq 45 and Amir Shah taking 4-81. Cambing posted 222-9, with Mubashir Ahmed hitting 81 and Amir Shah completing a fine all round performance by scoring 55.
Girlington (212, Shahid Saleem 86) beat Great Horton Church (161) by 51 runs to remain on top of GROUP B, while Bradford Gymkhana remain second following a two-wicket win over Greenfield in game which went to the last over. Chasing 134 to win, Gymkhana scored 136-9 of 45.1 overs, with Shakeel Ahmed top-scoring with 54 and Adeel Ahmed taking 4-17 for Greenfield.
Hallfield, in third, beat Salem by two wickets, with Abdul Hamid (5-35) starring with the ball, while Cross Roads-Daisy Hill beat Mandhata by 52 runs. Daisy Hill batted first and scored 193, with Graham Crabtree scoring 47. In reply Mandhata were all out for 141, with Harshad Taylor scoring 79 and Adam Hussain taking 4-10 for Daisy Hill.
Yorkshire LPS had to settle for a winning draw against Bowling Baptist. LPS batted first and scored 221 for the loss of eight wickets, with Peyush Patel scoring 57 and Mehul Patel 62. In reply, Bowling Baptist scored 159-9.
In GROUP C, West Bowling (222-5) have moved to the top of the table following a 39-run victory over Muff Field. A third-wicket partnership of 109 off 129 balls between Skipper Hassan Ali (67 of 76 balls) and Dominic Carter (65 of 93 balls) laid the foundation
TABS (218-9) won their first game of the season with a 173-run success over Cambing. Bilal Ahmed top-scored with 94 and, in reply, Cambing were skittled for 45, with Junaid Baig taking 5-25 for TABS.
Allerton bet Yorkshire Friends by five wickets, Mayfield beat Parkside by 96 runs and Great Horton Meths beat Hallfield by eight wickets.
In GROUP D, Bradford Indians beat Central YMCA by seven runs, Bowling Baptist went top with a six-wicket win over Muff Field and Yorkshire LPS beat Great Horton Meths by 85 runs. Finally, Mayfield beat Buttershaw St Pauls by 68 runs.
