YORKSHIRE are not yet out of the woods in terms of defeat in their LV= County Championship match against Warwickshire after losing two wickets during the morning session of day three at Headingley.
Jack Leaning and Andrew Hodd both fell to Boyd Rankin as the hosts, replying to 435, advanced from 128-3 overnight to 222-5 after 71 overs, with an early lunch taken due to a second rain shower.
Leaning (41) was caught at deep backward square-leg pulling and Hodd (12) caught at backward point as Yorkshire slipped to 207-5.
Andrew Gale, unbeaten on 53 at the break, shared 96 for the fourth wicket with Leaning.
Tim Bresnan was the other not out batsman as Yorkshire looked for another 64 runs in order to avoid the follow-on.
