Tim Bresnan and Steve Patterson picked up a wicket apiece during the first afternoon of Yorkshire’s clash with Warwickshire at Headingley, with the visitors reaching tea at 176-3 from 65 overs.
Bresnan struck in his first over after lunch when he had Will Porterfield caught behind for 35, leaving the score 95-2, before Patterson trapped Laurie Evans lbw with the score on 136.
Left-handed opener Ian Westwood completed a 195-ball century in the final over before lunch, with Sam Hain on 23 alongside him.
