YORKSHIRE found bowling tough going at Headingley this morning despite striking after just three balls against Warwickshire.
Tim Bresnan helped the hosts make the ideal start to their third LV= County Championship match of 2015 by getting visiting captain Varun Chopra caught behind for a duck.
Bresnan later dropped Will Porterfield at third slip off Matthew Fisher, which would have seen Warwickshire at 34-2. But otherwise it was a hard graft in good batting conditions, with the visitors posting 91-1 from 34 overs at lunch.
Ian Westwood reached 50 off 105 balls shortly before the interval and he resumes on 54, with Porterfield 35.
