Westwood Park, whose ground was vandalised in 2010, have withdrawn from the Central Yorkshire League due to loss of players and a shortage of volunteers
JUST two seasons after their first team won Division Three of the All Rounder Cricket Equipment Central Yorkshire League and their second team won Division Four, Bradford-based Westwood Park have resigned due to a loss of players and a shortage of volunteers.
However, the club, from Clayton, have not folded and hope to regroup in the near future.
Consequently, there will be only seven first teams in Division One and seven teams in the Second XI Championship, with clubs in these divisions having free dates when they should have played Westwood Park.
