TWO new clubs will take part in the All-Rounder Cricket Equipment Central Yorkshire League this season.
Birstall-based Crossbank Methodists have joined from the Arrows Huddersfield Central League, where they finished fifth in last season's Premier Division.
And Castleford side Great Preston have transferred from the Wetherby League, where they were third in the top flight.
Meanwhile, the Central Yorkshire League annual meeting at Ossett Cricket Club saw annual club subscriptions reduced from £225 to £200.
Also, there will be free hits for a front-foot no-ball for first teams in the Premiership, as well as only two fielders being allowed outside the fielding circle in the first 15 overs.
Both these rule changes are on a trial basis for 2015, while no player may bowl more than ten overs per innings in all Championship and Division One second-team matches, which will be played over a maximum of 90 overs.
