WOODHOUSE, voted out of the Aire-Wharfe League at their council meeting last October, have found a new league for 2015.
The Leeds-based club will enter a team in the Dales Council League, replacing Undercliffe's third team in the B Division, and their Meanwood Road ground is almost certain to be shared by a team from Leeds Sikh.
"It has all come about in a week to ten days and we will need to do a bit of recruiting," said Woodhouse secretary Eddie Thirlwell.
"But due to players leaving us, we only have enough for one team, and it is probable that Leeds Sikh will be sharing our ground."
Thirlwell added: "Our expulsion from the Aire-Wharfe mainly came about because of player behaviour.
"They were not angels, and we have also had the odd incidence of spectator misbehaviour, but we hadn't been reported by any Aire-Wharfe umpires for two seasons."
As is always the case, Woodhouse – who have a bye in the first round of the Cawthorne Cup – will be on probation for a season.
Pudsey St Lawrence might be using Laisterdyke's Broad Lane ground and all this has meant that the C Division fixtures have changed completely, apart from week two, while there are ten changes in the A Division.
Ken Firth, the Dales Council League's results and fixture secretary, has sent out a new list.
