Congs hold umpire course
PUDSEY Congs Cricket Club are hosting an umpires' course on seven successive Thursdays, starting on February 5 (7.15pm).
The cost is only £1.50 per session, and is suitable for those who are Level One, Level 1A or Level Two, or who merely wish to brush up on the basics.
There is no pressure on umpires to take the exam, and the course, which lasts until March 19, is suitable for those wishing to umpire in local leagues, and is being run jointly with the Leeds branch of the YCB ACO. Tutor is David Ratcliffe.
