SIGNIFICANT changes have been made to the Mewies Solicitors Craven League's Cowling Cup and Wynn Cup, which are now being run by the executive committee.
Matches will be 40 overs per side instead of 45, and will start at 1pm, instead of 2pm or 1.30pm.
As before, clubs are invited to enter, instead of being automatically entered, and they must make their intentions clear in writing before January's executive committee meeting, otherwise they will be entered anyway.
In order to stop a club having home advantage in the final, four grounds will be chosen by the executive committee to host the cup deciders and the Manorlands Plate, with clubs being advised in June or July which match they will be staging.
The unlucky club of the quartet who end up with nothing will then be guaranteed to host a match the season after.
