On a day which was mainly dominated by bowlers, there was a nine-wicket haul and two eight- wicket performances, along with a smattering of seven-wicket analysis in the Mewies Solicitors Craven League.
Wilsden II's Ben Reynard finished with 9-29 as Haworth Road II were dismissed for 100, of which Paul Rodwell made 56.
The Windy Grove side were made to work hard for their victory, which came by three wickets in the 42nd over.
The eight-wicket hauls came in the same game. Eldwick & Gilstead were hustled out for just 53, with Michael Baines taking 8-17 at Aire View.
But back roared Arnie Rastrick, who took 8-7 to limit visitors Bingley Congs II to just 45. This win put the winners top of Division Four.
Oakworth moved to the top of the table in Division One after a nervy four-wicket victory over Cowling at Cure Hill.
The visitors were undone for 68, thanks to a fine piece of bowling by Matt House, who took 7-22 off 14.5 overs.
At one point, the hosts were 48-6 before pulling themselves together to get over the line. Muhammed Saqab finished with 5-21.
Ingrow St John’s join Oakworth on 14 points after a six-run win over at Foulridge. The Saints were indebted to Deepal Dissanayake (42) and Farham Abbasi (33) as they posted 191, Chris Brooker Carey finishing with 6-66.
In reply, the Noyna side ran out of overs when close. John Lickess (55no) and David Spokes (49) were the main run-getters as Wasim Hussain took 6-51.
There was another close finish at the Bull Holme Oval, where visitors Riddlesden ran out winners by 11 runs.
The Grange Road side made 164-5, thanks to Ali Raza (52) and Mohammad Qadeer (42), with Ajmal Choudrhy (4-20) in the wickets again.
Choudrhy (64), Andy Smith (41) and 'Mr Extras' (14) were the only contributors to get into double figures as Zahir Abbas (5-31) and Habib Aslam (5-53) did the damage with the ball.
Thornton dragged themselves off the bottom with a superb victory over Crossflatts at Booth Bridge Lane.
The home side made 227-9, with Jonny Martin top-scoring with 83 and Scott Howarth-Haynes making 40 as Qamar Ayub took 3-43 and Alex Bradbury 3-50.
The Ryshworth Park side replied with a creditable 214-6. Mohammed Adil made 57, Nathan Bradbury 44 and Abdul Majid 33 not out, with Dave Scothern taking 3-59.
Haworth travelled to Shires Lane and came away victorious by 50 runs. The Bronte side posted 160-9, with Phil Clayton scoring 49 not out and Nivard Trowers 36. Phil Binner was the best bowler with 4-52.
Embsay were never in the hunt and only a bit of tail-wagging got them to 110. No 10 Ben Keane made 22 not out as Jamie Rowell wreaked havoc, taking the first seven wickets to fall for 45 runs.
Bingley Congs were in good form when they entertained Haworth Road. The Beckfoot Lane side posted 170-9, with Josh Nutting making 69 and Neil Copping 37.
In the reply of 111, Rob Greenwood top-scored with 28 as Harry Greenhalgh took 4-42, Copping 3-18 and Adie Dibb 3-19.
Glusburn are the sole leaders of Division Two after a 33-run victory over Oakworth II at Park Field.
Steve Brown (74) led the hosts to 211-6 before Lewis Wrathall (68) and Richard Cavender (38) saw the Cure Hill side to 178. Nick Williamson finished with 5-49.
Chatburn drop into second after going down by four wickets at Wilsden. Steve Kerr (41) was the backbone of the Ribble Valley side's 96 as Mohammed Ishtiaq claimed 4-12.
Kerr then took 5-22 but couldn’t prevent the Windy Grove side taking the points, with evergreen Colin Bottomley to the fore with 27.
Sutton move into third after a 23-run victory at Hainworth. Opener David Snowden (63) was the backbone of the Royd Hill sid'es 143-8, with Jake Hoyle (4-50) and Mark Price (3-50) being the best bowlers for Ingrow.
In the reply, Richard Walker (6-45) and Simon Doane (3-39) ensured that the hosts were restricted to 120, despite the best efforts of Shaun Humphreys (41).
At the seventh attempt, Hepworth & Idle secured their first victory. At Sandy Lane, the Westfield Laners saw the home side post 151 with Steve Carass making 36, Mohammed Ahmar 34 and Andy Blackburn 31 as Tim Shackleton took 5-23.
It wasn’t looking good for the visitors before No 10 David Goodaire (51no) joined Craig Edwards (28no), and the points were in the bag with just 11 balls to spare. Carass finished with 5-59 off 22 overs.
Barrowford II remain firmly anchored at the bottom after slipping to a four-wicket defeat at Bradley.
The Bull Holme side made 138, with Jahangir Babar scoring 30 as James Heseltine spun his way to 5-27. The Matthews Lane side got home in the 43rd over, with Craig Tempest making 49 and Matt Buckmaster 29 not out.
Ingrow St John’s II were knocked off Division Three's top spot after losing by six wickets at home to Bradford & Bingley III.
The Saints elected to bat on winning the toss but found it hard going against the bowling of Zak Critchlow (4-16) and Nick Smith (3-37) and were dismissed for 83. Tim Carrow (36) led the successful reply as Mohammed Ferdous took 4-33.
Joint leaders are Pendle Forest and Gargrave. The former entertained Haworth West End and made 170-5, with Juwad Sabir hitting 60 and Anjum Ahmed 35 not out. In the reply of 73-9, Adnan Khalid took 7-13 off 12 overs. Gargrave beat Skipton CI by four wickets at Skipton Road.
Embsay II were in control of their game at Airedale for 80 per cent of the time. Under-15s skipper Elliot Stockton made 46 and veteran Neville Allan 36 as the Shires Laners closed on 146, with Wayne Coppack taking 5-42 and Joe Milner 3-29.
The Bradford Road side had stuttered to 91-4 in the 34th over. Then Matthew Cox (56no) and Paul Feather (49no) cut loose and took their side to victory by six wickets in the 40th over. Jono Coward bowled his heart out to finish with 3-45 off 20 overs.
There was a low-scoring affair at Cononley II. William Proctor (6-20) and Dan Oldfield (4-18) had the hosts back in the pavilion for just 63, with Tom Feather scoring 26 not out. The latter then took 6-18 as Thornton II crept over the line by two wickets.
Division Four leaders Oakworth III suffered at drubbing at Crossflatts II. The Ryshworth Park side battled their way to 97 as Oliver Huck took 4-3.
The Bronte Fields side were then knocked over for a paltry 32 in just 16.5 overs, Mick Addy (4-3) and Will McLaughlan (4-22) doing most of the damage.
Dale Wood (51) and Martin McCully were the mainstays of Hepworth & Idle II's 219 at home to Airedale II. The Keighley II could only muster 101 in reply, with Simon McDermott taking 3-18 and Craig Smith 3-37.
Another low-scoring affair happened at Haworth II. Visitors Glusburn II were shot out for a miserable 40, with no-one getting double figures as Derek Bright was the best bowler with 4-8. The Bronte side made 42-4 in their successful reply.
Riddlesden II's skipper Danny Spencer (5-17) ensured that nine-man Ingrow II were restricted to 50-8 at Grange Road. The hosts lost three wickets reaching their target.
Division Five leaders Chatburn II suffered a shock defeat at the hands of bottom side Long Lee II at the Playing Fields.
The Golden View men were put in, Jan Haider (61), supported by Oliver Bellerby (22) and Andrew Greenwood (23), seeing them to 135-8, Travis Blezard (5-34) being the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, the Ribble Valley side fell just three runs short, despite Damien Gupta’s 59 as leg-spinner Bellerby took 5-67.
Gargrave II jump into top spot after beating Skipton CI II by 54 runs at Sandylands.
George Beckwith (27) top-scored as the Skipton Road side made 119 as Chris Windle finished with 6-36. Stuart Weatherill (7-25) undermined the reply, which petered out at 65.
There was another close finish at Sutton II, where the home side won by four runs. The Royd Hill side made 98, with Stuart Tillotson making 40 as Jack Hatton took 5-27 and Paul Hogg 3-19. No 9 Jim Outhwaite (27) threatened to nick the game for Cononley II but it wasn’t to be as Sam Solley finished with 5-40.
Next-to-bottom Bradley II enjoyed a fine seven-wicket win over Haworth West End at Penistone Hill. The Bronte side were restricted to 74, with Andy Holme taking 5-31. Danny Smith (37) saw the Matthews Lane side to the spoils.
Finally, Cowling II beat Sandy Lane II by six wickets.
