Jack Brooks has added three further wickets to his tally this afternoon against Lancashire at Headingley as Yorkshire remain on top.
Lancashire started the afternoon session at 178-5, but Brooks has removed Alex Davies, Glen Chapple and Tom Smith as the Red Rose reached tea at 274-8 from 92 overs. Brooks has now taken 4-63.
After Alex Davies was caught at second slip by Adam Lyth to leave the score at 183-6, Smith and Chapple, who made 54 and 33 respectively, shared 68 for the seventh wicket.
But, with the score on 251 in the 84th, Brooks bowled Chapple with the second new ball and then forced Smith to chop on in the 89th as the score slipped to 267-8.
Yorkshire have had to do without Ryan Sidebottom since just before luch due to a hamstring injury. He will not return to the field all day.
Kyle Hogg and Kabir Ali resumed after tea in the early stages of their innings.
