Undercliffe produced the performance of the day as they recorded an emphatic 182-run win over Division One side Morley to book their place in the last eight of the JCT600 Bradford League's Sovereign Health Care Priestley Cup yesterday.
They will now go into the third-round draw alongside the day's other winners - Bradford & Bingley, Cleckheaton, East Bierley, Hanging Heaton, Pudsey Congs, Pudsey St Lawrence and Woodlands.
It is one of the strongest quarter-final line ups for many years and Undercliffe should be justly proud at being Division Two's sole representatives.
They didn't just defeat Morley, they blew them away with a powerful performance which suggests they will be a real handful for whoever has to play them next.
Such an emphatic victory seemed improbable when they lost opener Farakh Hussain lbw to the first ball of the match from Nathan Bromby.
However, from that moment on, Undercliffe seized the initiative, with their overseas player Nawaz Sardar continuing his rich vein of form.
Sardar, who had made 114 against Great Horton 24 hours earlier, tore into the Morley attack as he made a splendid 119 not out - an innings which contained four sixes and 12 fours.
Opener Hamed Khan (33) and skipper Michael Kelsey (30) helped Undercliffe to run up a total of 251-7.
Morley, who have lost their way since winning their opening two league games, were bowled out for just 69 as former Manningham Mills bowler Zeeshan Qasim picked up 4-28.
Another batsman who has enjoyed a bumper weekend is Bradford & Bingley's Ryan Cooper.
He followed up his unbeaten 85 in Saturday's five-wicket league win over East Bierley by making a splendid 100 as his side romped to a 230-run win over Bankfoot.
Cooper struck two sixes and 12 fours in his century and was supported by David Clow (43) and Chris Thompson (43) in a total of 289-7.
Bankfoot's reply lasted just 14.5 overs as they were bowled out for just 59. Pacemen Matt Simpson (5-20) and Jack Hartley (5-28) did the damage.
The only all-Division One tie went the way of Pudsey St Lawrence as they brushed aside New Farnley by eight wickets.
The absence of Lee Goddard, Nick Walker and Ian Fisher was clearly felt against a Pudsey St Lawrence side keen to bounce back from Saturday's league defeat by Lightcliffe.
Opener Scott Richardson (44) was the only New Farnley batsman to make an impression as they were dismissed for 161. Richie Lamb was the pick of the St Lawrence bowlers with 4-28.
New Farnley needed early wickets if they were to stand a chance of winning, but St Lawrence openers Adam Waite (58no) and Mark Robertshaw (39) were determined to steer their side into the last eight.
Occasional bowler Ian Nicholson was the star turn as champions Cleckheaton brushed aside his old side Windhill by nine wickets.
Nicholson took 5-25 and spinner Andrew Deegan (3-32) as Windhill were dismissed for just 104. Openers Andy Gorrod (46no) and Tim Jackson (34) helped Cleckheaton to their victory target.
East Bierley and Pudsey Congs both put their indifferent league form behind them to record comfortable victories over Idle and Keighley respectively.
Tabbi Bhatt took 4-14 and Kez Ahmed 3-10 as East Bierley rolled over Idle for 90. Andrew Rennison top-scored with 36 as East Bierley eased home by seven wickets.
Congs, who are without a league win so far this season, saw off Keighley - joint leaders of Division Two - by six wickets.
The experienced duo of Babar Butt (48no) and Andrew Bairstow (43no) guided their side past Keighley's total of 174-9 with 11.4 overs to spare.
Woodlands and Hanging Heaton were also six-wicket winners against Baildon and Saltaire respectively. Baildon, who have often proved a bogey side for Woodlands, posted a challenging score of 194-8, with opener James Ford making 79.
Woodlands recovered from the early loss of Duncan Snell and Simon Mason to ease to their target. Once again there were half-centuries for their young batting duo of Logan Weston (88) and Scott Richardson (67).
Joe Fraser delivered the knockout blow with an unbeaten 78 as last year’s beaten finalists Hanging Heaton defeated Saltaire at Roberts Park.
Saltaire did give their Division One opponents something to think about when they recovered from 76-5 to make 212-8. The recovery was led by Amer Ayoub (72no) and Michael Eglin (59).
