Former Bradford Junior League chairman Michael Hope, who died last July aged 71, and Tom Priestley, who has stood down as league president, have been honoured.

Both will have under-17 divisions named after them. The North Section will be renamed Hope and the South Section Priestley.

Tom stood down at the league’s recent executive committee meeting, having originally intended to do so at last December’s annual meeting, which he missed due to illness.

The league have also announced details of their pre-season coaching sessions (£5 per session), and want club coaches to assist the lead coaches.
