Yorkshire batsmen Jonny Bairstow and Alex Lees will tour Sri Lanka with the England Lions squad in February.
Bradford-born Bairstow will get the opportunity to play some four-day cricket, having not yet played an Ashes Test in Australia and after not being named in their one-day and Twenty20 squads for the series Down Under in January.
Lees, currently with the England Performance Prog-ramme squad in Perth, has been further rewarded for an excellent breakthrough summer at the top of the order for his county.
The 15-man squad is captained by Warwickshire all-rounder Chris Woakes, who is one of six players to have played full international cricket. Former Yorkshire seamer Mark Robinson, now in charge of Sussex, will coach the squad.
The Lions play two three-day matches against the Sri Lanka A team Emerging Players and three four-day matches against Sri Lanka A between February 1 and March 1.
England Lions: Woakes (c), Ali, Bairstow, Borthwick, Chopra, Foakes, Harris, Jordan, Kerrigan, Lees, Mills, J Overton, Robson, Taylor, Vince.
