Shipley-based Mandhata, whose tenure in the Bradford Mutual Sunday School League seemed over eight days ago, have won a reprieve.
The club, who play at Northcliffe Park, failed to turn up to the league’s annual meeting at Clayton Rugby League Club last Tuesday and were therefore deemed to have resigned.
However, when it became apparent that their representative had merely forgotten to attend the meeting, Mandhata were given until last Friday to pay their fines, which they duly did.
League fixture secretary Graham Langton confirmed tonight: “All the clubs have now paid their fines and filled in their forms, which means we have 38 teams.”
The season will start on Saturday, April 26 and finish on Saturday, September 13.
