Oakworth consolidated their position at the head of the Division One table in the Mewies Solicitors Craven League with a resounding eight-wicket victory over Cullingworth at Wide Lane.

The visitors notched 171, with Chris Welch hitting a 70-ball 87 as Adam Smith took 3-17.

The home side romped home in the 39th over with Robert Hopkinson making 62no and Gareth Marshall 44.

Crossflatts are second after another stunning batting performance saw them smash 277-5 off Bradley’s attack at Ryshworth Park.

Amer Ayub scored a superb 119no, Lee Bailey 47 and Feyaz Akram 43no. James Heseltine stuck manfully to his task, finishing with 3-77 off 17 overs.

Casper Bean, 33, top scored in the South Craveners' reply as Mohammed Adil took 3-32.

Bingley Congs' trip to Foulridge proved to be fruitful.

Batting first, the Beckfoot side made 179, with Andrew Copping scoring 53 and Matty Roberts 38, with Kafeel Ishfaq taking 5-57.

The Noyna side's reply was woeful as they tumbled to 87 all out. Only Chris Brooker-Carey 42 showed any form as Harry Greenhalgh took 4-14.

Embsay’s trip to Bronte land was a huge let-down. Going first, they crashed to 21-5 before reaching 88 all out.

Aslam Hussain top scored with 24 as Richard Ellis claimed 6-41 and Damian Rowell 3-20. Haworth lost four wickets reaching their target, with Jamie Rowell scoring 32 and Aidy Parker 31.

Bottom side Thornton entertained Barrowford and saw them rattle up 252-9, with T Ali leading the way with 73 and Nick Burton making 66. Jack Laycock was the most successful bowler with 4-79.

The Booth Bridge Laners replied with 163-9, of which Johnny Martin made 52 as Ajmal Choudrhy took 4-42.

Mohammed Zahid (74 and 3-19) and I Ullah (59no and 7-17) were the stars of Haworth Road’s 165-run triumph at Street Lane.

Chasing 202-7, Ingrow St John’s crashed to 37 all out in 23.4 overs.

Dave Robinson (74no) and N Hussain (43) pulled Division Two leaders Riddlesden’s innings up to 225 at home to Sutton. The Royd Hill side replied with 179-9, with Justin Holdsworth making 32.

Cowling are joint second with neighbours Glusburn. The former were in sparkling form at home to Airedale.

Firstly they restricted the visitors to 113, with Steve Richardson taking 6-28 and Martyn Dalby 3-29. Then Richardson and Graham Rishton both scored 50no as the home side sauntered to a ten-wicket victory.

Gareth Wright (40) and Ben Peirson (30) helped Wilsden to 158 at Park Field as Dave Atkinson took 5-37 and Nick Williamson 4-28.

Glusburn got over the line by two wickets off the last ball of the game, Williamson leading the way with 45 as Stuart Wilson took 3-32 and Dave Hahn 3-40.

Barrowford II smashed the day’s highest score - a mammoth 318-6 at home to Pendle Forest. S Butt made 91no and J Khan 88 as Andrew Townsend claimed 4-89.

The Fence side replied with a dismal 74 with Butt taking 5-24 and M Iqbal 4-14.

Oakworth II were too strong for bottom side Long Lee, winning by 74 runs. Brannon Lawn (56) and James Lee (41) were the backbone of the Wide Lane side's 191 as Shabaz Ahmed took 5-36 and Matt Taylor 3-54.

In reply, the Golden View side scored 117 of which Jamie Robinson made 32 as Jack Ellis claimed 5-45 and Lee 4-31.

Denholme crashed to 64 all out at Ingrow. Chris Herbert finished with 6-30 before the Hainworth side jogged home by nine wickets.

Division Three's joint leaders Sandy Lane and Embsay both lost, which allowed Chatburn to draw level with them.

Sandy Lane were in the Ribble Valley and, going first, made 161 with A Blackburn top-scoring with 44 as John Lockley took 5-63. Neal Cartledge 92 saw the hosts to a comfortable seven-wicket win in the 28th over.

Bradford & Bingley III made their first visit to Embsay II and reduced the Shires Laners to 27-5. Then Zaffar Iqbal (59) and Jonathan Coward (51) pulled things around before the innings closed on 155-9 as N Smith took 4-46.

Tim Carrow led a charmed life and made 51 and Andrew Dobson 33 before evergreen skipper Dave Critchlow made 32 to see his side over the line with two wickets to spare.

Wilsden II are just a point behind the top three after they saw off Crossflatts II by 107 runs.

John Greenwood, in a rich vein of form, hit 80 and Jacob Jagger 57 as the Windy Row side totalled 192-5.

The Ryshworth Park side could only muster 85 in reply. Top-scorer was J Bairstow with 49 as Rob Greenwood took 4-29.

Stephen Timperley performed the hat-trick in a spell of 7-4 off 4.3 overs to help Eldwick & Gilstead dismiss Gargrave for 76 at Wagon Lane.

John Beckwith followed his top score of 24 in the Skipton Road side's innings with a stunning 5-7 off ten overs, which, coupled with 3-9 by Ted Wilman, saw the home side dismissed for a paltry 47.

Cononley’s batters enjoyed themselves in the sun, rattling up 234-6. Charles Calvert led the way with 80, Herbie Starkey made 71 and Joel Grainger 53no.

Visitors Haworth West End replied with 171, with Sam Chipman making 55 and Joe Alvey 42 as Grainger took 6-67.

Ingrow St John’s II beat Haworth Road II by 57 runs at Baildon Bridge. A Hussain (49), A Shakeel (40) and R Ali (36) were the main contributors for the Saints as W Ismail claimed 3-20. In reply, Andy Maude top-scored with 31 as M Shezad took 4-23.

In Division Four, Skipton CI are five points clear at the top after seeing off Long Lee II by five wickets in a high-scoring game.

The Golden View side, going first, made 182-8, with Mick Hawkes scoring 72no, Phil Atkinson 33 and Simon Webster 32 as John Stuttard bowled through to finish with 5-70.

Ian Henderson (41) got the CI innings off to a good start, then skipper Paul Mason (43no) and Simon Bates (32no) saw the Sandylands side to the spoils.

Airedale II were undone on their own ground, being dismissed for just 46 by Thornton II, with C Heald taking 4-9. The West Craveners sauntered home by nine wickets.

Bill Marshall made 49 of Bingley Congs' II 155 at home to Riddlesden II. Then three wickets each for Jonny Teale, Jamie Teale and Michael Baines had the Grange Road side back in the hut for 129.

Billy Whitford, who is 14, made 89 for Cullingworth II in their 226-7. Then evergreen Dave Hall took 4-7 and J Rogers 3-44 as visitors Ingrow closed on 168, with B Pursey top-scoring with 37.

Rummy Smith (5-20) and D Mortimer (3-33) helped restrict Bradley to 133-9, of which Neil Lambert made 53.

Glusburn then faded badly to be all out for just 56, Andy Holmes (5-26) and Tom Harrison (4-14) doing the damage.

In Division Five, Kane Booker carried his bat for 59 as Sutton posted 120 at home to Foulridge II. Then Tom Bradley (53) top-scored as the Noyna side got home by seven wickets.

Oakworth III enjoyed a 129-run victory over Cowling II at Bronte Fields. Alan Fothergill (69) and Jack Keighley (64) were the main contributors with the bat, with Keighley (4-15) and Mike Davison (3-11) doing the damage with the ball.

Haworth West End II smashed 261-8 off Cononley’s attack at Penistone Park, Sam Hallas (82) and Harry Sherlock (51) being the main contributors.

Four players got into the early thirties for the visitors but none were able to push on to a big score. Pete Hatton took 4-39, Graham Aldred 3-28 and young James Nowell 3-11 to go with 28 with the bat.

Sandy Lane II conceded to Chatburn II, who receive three points.

Finally Denholme II were in good form as they rattled up 226-5, with A Shires making 72 and E Foster 42. Visitors Skipton CI II were knocked over for 106, with extras being the top scorer with 25.
