Tim Bresnan and Ryan Sidebottom have stunned Warwickshire with three quick wickets before lunch on day three at Edgbaston.
Faced with a deficit of 279, the Bears slipped to 9-3 after five overs of their second innings.
Bresnan trapped Varun Chopra lbw with the first ball of the innings before Sidebottom removed Will Porterfield the same way for another golden duck with the first ball of the second over.
Bresnan then had Darren Maddy caught at second slip by Adam Lyth with the last ball before lunch.
Their strikes came shortly after Adil Rashid had notched 110 not out off 158 balls, including 12 fours and a six, as the White Rose were bowled out for 409 in their first innings in reply to 128.
It was Rashid’s sixth LV= County Championship hundred and the second time in his career he has posted a score of three figures in consecutive innings, having scored 180 against Somerset last week.
He also did it against Hampshire and Lancashire in August 2009.
Yorkshire resumed this morning on 318-7, and lost Liam Plunkett, Sidebottom (20) and Steve Patterson, the latter two to New Zealand off-spinner Jeetan Patel. He finished with 5-56 from 24 overs.
Yorkshire are now firmly on course for their third win in four matches.
