Division Two newcomers New Farnley made a flying start to life in the JCT600 Bradford League after bowling out Yeadon for just 69 as they claimed a five-wicket win.

Gomersal were bowled out for 117 as skipper Richard Robinson (3-23), Ross Towler (3-19) and Joe Stead (3-39) shared the workload.
The two sides relegated from the top flight last season, Farsley and Undercliffe, opened their Division Two campaigns with comfortable victories.
Farsley defeated Bankfoot by nine wickets, while Undercliffe beat Idle by 105 runs.
An unbroken second-wicket partnership of 109 between Mark Harrison (61no) and Joe Greaves (57no) sealed Farsley’s success after they had restricted Bankfoot to 150-7, with Ian Philliskirk picking up 4-26.
Aaqib Uppal (40) and Micky Hutchins (35) were Bankfoot’s main contributors.
Former Methley player Hamid Khan made 92 on his debut for Undercliffe and helped his side post a total of 199-6.
Idle were bowled out for just 94 in reply, with young spinner Amir Hussain taking 5-20 and former Idle player Michael Kelsey 3-18.
Tosh Baker (70) and newcomer Michael Halmshaw (51) put on 114 for the third wicket as Spen Victoria defeated Hartshead Moor by 52 runs.
