Liam Plunkett and Jack Brooks struck twice apiece as Lancashire wickets tumbled at Headingley in the Roses friendly this afternoon.
Yorkshire new boys have played their parts in the capture of six wickets since lunch as their cross-Pennine rivals, now in Division Two of the LV= County Championship, collapsed from 56-1 to 133-7.
Tim Bresnan and Adil Rashid have also claimed a wicket apiece, the former striking with the last ball of his tenth over to get Karl Brown caught at first slip by Gary Ballance.
Brooks bowled Paul Horton and Stephen Moore, who fell foul of a big misjudgement by shouldering arms, before Bresnan removed Brown to leave the score at 72-4 in the 37th over.
Plunkett then trapped Tom Smith lbw in the 47th, Rashid bowled Steven Croft in the 48th and Plunkett had Gareth Cross neatly caught behind by Jonny Bairstow following an inside edge as the visitors lost their seventh in the 49th.
Kyle Hogg and Wayne White will resume after tea for Lancashire with the score at 151-7 after 53 overs.
