Guiseley 2 Harrogate Town 0
The Lions roared back from two consecutive defeats to beat Harrogate Town at Nethermoor last night and move back to second in the Blue Square Bet North.
James Walshaw netted the only goal of the first half when he showed good control before moving into the area and drilling a shot into the top corner.
There were few chances for either side early in the second half until Mark Bower volleyed in Guiseley ’s second following a corner.
There was a worrying end to the game as Harrogate keeper Jose Veiga suffered a late injury and had to be tended to by physios from both clubs. He was carried off after five minutes of treatment.
