The Dennyboys have had some inconsistent displays this term but manager Vince Brockie has had his hands tied in terms of selection.
The boss has been faced with dilemma after dilemma for a variety of reasons.
Now the club looks like being without former Park Avenue, Farsley Celtic and Guiseley striker Mark Bett (pictured) for an extended period.
Spokesman Mick Lodge said: “Mark went off after four minutes against Worksop Parramore and he missed last weekend’s FA Vase game.
“He has a hamstring injury and we already had quite a few players out.
“Liam Moore and Callum White have missed games through injury, Matty Hall has missed games through work commitments and Chris Davey missed a weekend because he had tickets for the Rugby League Challenge Cup final.
“It has been difficult for Vinny but even he missed a couple of games earlier on because he was away on holiday.
“The school holidays don’t fit in around the close season, so you have to expect family men to be missing some part of the early season.”
