Bradford City are at home to Middlesbrough on Sunday, looking continue their winning start to the season in the Northern Women's Combination League.
After a 5-1 win over Cheadle Heath on the opening day, they were disappointeed to see their clash with Chorley rained off but the A team were in action when they opened their season with a 2-1 victory over Wetherby in the North East Women's Regional League Cup second round.
Skipper Vicki Wood and Chelsey Faulkner were City's scorers.
Their were mixed fortunes for former City players as Fatima Khatun was on target for Keighley, along with Kirsty Delaney.
But former City stalwart Claire Popplewell, teaming up with one-time City and Wales midfielder Nicky Davies, hit four goals for Ossett Albion as that tie finished 5-2 in Albion's favour. Joanna Atkinson hit the other Albion goal.
Also through to the last eight of this competition are Guiseley, 5-3 winners at Rothwell with goals from Caroline Hulme (3), Chelsey Reynoldson and Julie Richardson, Scunthorpe, 6-3 winners at Kirklees, Barnsley, Doncaster Rovers Belles Juniors, Castleford White Rose and Malet Lambert.
In the North East Regional Premier Division, Guiseley are at Lepton, while in Division One (South) Keighley entertain Kirklees, Ossett Albion are at home to Rovers Foundation Ladies and Bradford City A go to Wetherby, with the home side seeking to avenge their cup defeat.
Bradford Park Avenue, from the West Riding County Women's League, play their final pre-season game at Brighouse.
