Ricky Ravenhill column: All the attention with the bookies for this season has been on Rotherham.

And we’re quite happy for people to keep talking about other teams. It doesn’t worry us not to be getting mentioned.

We’ll just keep picking up points and going about our job and let others have the headlines.

Over the years, people have often struggled with all the hype of Bradford City being such a big club in this division. If they want to talk about Rotherham and Fleetwood and teams like that, just let them.

Tomorrow’s game will be another test for us but I don’t think that’s such a bad thing. We’ve had some difficult fixtures to start with but that keeps you on your toes.

I would have taken six points from the first nine in the league as well as two wins over teams from higher divisions in the cup.

Rotherham will be a big game and we want to make sure we come back with something. There’s going to be a lot of support there for us and if we can beat them, I’m sure everyone is going to start paying attention.

We had a tremendous result at Watford and that shows the depth we have. The gaffer made six changes but we still put out a very strong team and you need that in the squad to be successful.

There are lots of games over the course of the season when you will pick up injuries and suspensions, so everyone will play their part.

I was following updates from the game and admit to fearing the worst when Watford scored with 20 minutes left. But it shows the character we’ve got at the minute that we came back at them.

I’m really pleased for Thommo because he has struggled with injury in pre-season, so to take his chance by scoring the winner down there will be a big boost for him.

Anyone who says they aren’t bothered about cup runs are lying. You want to win every match and the cup and league can go hand in hand.

For someone like ourselves it is a great opportunity to test yourself against teams from higher divisions as well as bring in some money.
