Farsley booked a home FA Cup tie against Ossett Albion thanks to a 3-2 win at Jarrow Roofing Boldon CA.
Their Northern League Division Two hosts are two steps below Farsley on the non-league ladder but almost snatched a replay after their visitors eased off when they were 3-1 up.
Gareth Grant set up Chris Walton for the opener after 17 minutes and Farsley doubled their advantage shortly after the break. This time it was Walton who threaded the pass and Grant who steered the ball in.
The home side pulled one back with a Josh Allen volley but the visitors restored their two goal cushion when Adam Priestley rounded the keeper.
Allen cut the deficit again in the 89th minute and he was thwarted by a good save from Tom Morgan in stoppage time.
