Farsley followed up their point on the opening day of the Evo-Stik League Division One North season with a 5-3 home victory as they raced into a big half-time lead before letting opponents Salford City back into the game.

It took just six minutes for Adam Muller to break the deadlock but Salford’s Chris Thompson soon levelled.
